“Meeeoooow…….” Mr. Whiskers bellowed at me, looking up with his head sticking out of the newly erected cardboard gingerbread playhouse. I could see the top of his head, just to his pink nose.
“I know, I know,” I replied. I knew exactly what he was on about. Even though Mr. Whiskers succumbed easily to the elementary allure of his feather teaser, he had a mature, discerning eye for design and decor, clearly showcased in the ideas he gave me for my now stunning foyer. “More stickers for your gingerbread house?” I quipped back, fully knowing the answer.
“Phhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrr,” he replied assuredly.
