Cats and the coronavirus quarantine – memes on the web

We’ve been on lockdown for more than a month now. My husband is trying to work from a desk in the corner of my son’s old bedroom, and my daughter is finishing up her senior year at college via Zoom conference call. The dogs have been walked 5,000 times and I’m spending my days making hamburger buns from scratch and figuring out how to order butter online so I don’t have to go to the grocery store.

Yes, this virus is serious business and I hope all of you are following the advice of health professionals to keep yourselves safe. Though this worldwide crisis is nothing to joke about, I still believe there’s room for levity and enjoyment of life. And there’s nothing like cats when you need a good laugh.

I’ve collected some of my favorite quarantined cat memes on the web for your enjoyment. Some made me literally laugh out loud. I hope you get a chuckle out of them, too.
